SAVE OUR PLANET DAY.
Conservation groups are key to us saving our planet.

Since the general public is perilously
unaware of the extent to which our lives will have to change
to truly reduce CO2 emissions over the next few years, (to
have any chance of reducing climatic catastrophe), we need
some means to engage them before that change can be implemented.
In the first instance we need to employ their emotional qualities
and love for life on this planet generally. The conservation
organisations have a key role to play and especially where
mass media is involved. As more of our world and its
diversity of life are revealed to us, the greater the sense
of loss will be at its imminent departure.
Only if we do something
soon can that loss be minimised.
Conservation urgency means
knowledge expansion and spread amongst the population is necessary. Help bring greater awareness of
the conservation organisations and habitat preservationists
and it will help highlight our need for serious steps to tackle
man-induced climate change and global warming.
Conservation groups are thus
key to helping to save our planet and are therefore essential
participants in the ‘Save our planet day’ concept.
Besides the day of Saturday 7th
July, 2007, we encourage all to visit, support and learn from
these organisations and groups on a regular basis. These groups
can give a sense of purpose and well-being necessary to implement
the inevitable changes ahead, if we are to avoid climatic
catastrophe and mass extinction on an unprecedented scale
in the modern era.
